anyone us the podee?

I was so worried but it became such second nature here is how I did it I rarely propped a bottle I would sit on couch cross one leg per my lap to make a groove for one baby and use my left hand to fed that baby and second baby would be in boppy next to me on the right and I would use right hand to feed that baby

Re: anyone us the podee?

We did use bottle slings for a few weeks (its a velcro contraption that goes around the arm of any car seat and essentially angles the bottle into their mouths) though I'd say for about a max of 6 weeks (like weeks 5-11or something). You still need to "manage" the bottles as they go everywhere and babies need burping etc. If you want to pay postage I can send you mine as we no longer use them!

But honestly, after a while you kinda find a groove that works. We feed each in a rocker or a bouncy chair while sitting on the floor in front of our couch. Before that it was 2 boppys. Now we have high chairs set up and will be moving to those once we start solids.

Re: anyone us the podee?

Honestly, I rarely fed them at the same time when they were little. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for feeding one after the other but my kids got more angry waiting for me to burp their brother mid-bottle. It just didn't work for us.

I fed whoever was looking for food first while the other played, then switched. Feedings took about an hour. It was taking me about 45 minutes when I tried doing at the same time - the 15 minutes wasn't worth it to me.

Now that they are older and hold their own bottles and don't really need to be burped, its a different story.

Re: anyone us the podee?

we always have and still do feed them together. When they were little I would either put them in boppies with bottle props or in bouncer seats with bottle props. It is safe to prop a bottle, just dont walk away from them. However it is way more snuggly to feed one baby at a time. We only did this where there were 2 adults at home. One of my girls always needed to be held, so it was not possible to feed the other and let her be.

oh, but to answer your question. I registered for the podee, got them and never sued them, so I returned them.

i used the podee. the nipple is too fast so i bought the playtex ventaire standard slow nipple which replaced it perfectly. but like a PP user said, it only saved me a few minutes- as it popped out of the babies mouth. however it was nice for feedings in the Rock and play as you only needeed to lift the baby to burp..so i think at the end of the day, get one set and see how you like the,

in the end, i preefer to feed one after the other while one plays or while i bounce one in the seat with my foot....

They were on clearance for $4.90 at BRU in Massapequa over the weekend! We used them but they're a PITA to clean... good for going out... now that they're almost 8 months I actually can get them to use them better because they have a better suction

I used these

I would put each baby in a boppy and prop up their bottles in these bottle holders. They were awesome. It took me a little bit to find the right positioning, but it worked great! And as they got a little bigger and were able to sit in their high chairs, i think around 5 months, i would sit them in their high chairs and prop the bottle up on the tray. I though about getting the Podee but when I asked on here, a few people said they preferred these pillows and i would up sticking with these.

We didn't use them. I often breadtfed one and bottle fed the other but when I fed them both together I put them both in the boppy or bouncy right it from of me and held both bottles when I burped one baby I put a blanket under the other bottle to prop it. I tried to also get my kids to put their hands on the bottle to encourage holding it themselves. I think it helped, they were holding their bottles on their own by 7 months which was an AMAZING help!

I don't have multiples (just popped on to see some photos) but we used this all of the time for my dd when we were traveling & sometimes I'd hold her & have it. Feeding her in an upright position helped alleviate her gas issues
