Does anyone belong to Big Al's?
Looking to join a gym. Big Al's is the closest to me, looking for some pros and cons.

No cons!! Only pro's .
I go to the Crossfit right next door and used to belong there as well.
They have tons to offer and it's a great price. If I was planning on staying at Crossfit forever ( wish I could but it's $$$$) I would join there too. Right now it is too far for me when I am not doing Crossfit!!

If you join, watch your billing with them. They have a habit of charging twice for your membership and then when you call them out on it they blame their 3rd party credit card processing company and they take forever to give you your money.

I am contemplating joining.
I have an unlimited yoga membership that is up in November and I've begun to slack off a lot with it. I feel like my $$$ would be better spent elsewhere.
I also think Big Al's has child care which would be a HUGE bonus.

That's what's got me thinking about big Al's over anyone else is al their children's activities. I also heard they opened a playground outside recently. And as for the billing thing, YES happened to DH, he quit and was still being charged for six months and refused to give him his money back. If I join I think I'll pay for a year upfront in cash so they don't have my cc info and can't scam me. That was the one reason I was thinking of not joining, that they are scammers like that but their gym is so awesome and very close which means I'd actually go lol.
