Re: Advice

Anytime AF has been off track for me, it's usually attributed to stress. I think you're doing the right thing by waiting to see what happens. If anything else seems off, go with your instinct and call your Dr.

Re: Advice

It could be stress, change in diet, change in exercise (even walking farther to the car everyday), if you've flown, change in season...

Did you have an irregular cycle before going on the pill?

it is just strange..

i can't say this month has been overly stressful...

in fact previous months were much worse...AND it did IMO effect AF...by delaying it..

no real changes that i can think of...other than the weather..

but even before the pill...i was kinda regular...and AF was never light...

but i think that it was just an odd month...

i will wait and see what happens next month...

Did you take a pregnancy test?

Call the doctor but I think (s)he will say it's normal for coming off the pill. Even several months later. My doctor told me it could take up to 18 months for my body to adjust - I was on the pill forever!

Also - I would use an OPK. At least this way, you know when your ovulating - and don't have to guess - especially if your periods have been wacky.

I agree with this post completely..
I think I would take a test just to be sure what you had wasn't delayed implantation or some breakthrough bleeding, just in case you might be PG (Chat Icon)

If its negative, I would still chalk it up to your cycles just changing after coming off the pill and /or just an odd cycle this time around...

Also - I know some pepole really arent cool with using OPKs and things like that, but if you did want to try something to help determine your ovulation more specifically, OPKs are the easiest and most inexpensive way to give it a shot. Even for one cycle it might be worth it to see if you can narrow down your fertile 'window' == and if you hate the process of using the kit, you can just go back to Bding the old fashioned way the following month ...
