Trip Locations
I am head of the committee for trips this year.
Please suggest places for 2nd graders.
I want to do a botanical garden but I'm not sure if we should do Queens or Brooklyn.
Any other suggestions?
Units of study include:
Earth Science, NYS, Plants/Animals, Magnets

Not sure where you are, but 1st graders at our school do a trip to White Post Farms in the spring where they get to plant a flower and bring it home. They also have some animals the kids can feed with bottles & animal feed.

Trip Locations
There are great programs at Bronx botanical, we do stop and shop and queens theater in the park..

2nd grade in my school goes to the Yesterday's Child program - I think it's run by Cornell Coop. Extension. They learn about a child's life "in the ole days".
