Am I mean? (baby moving ?)
I wasnt feeling baby b much last night into this am (my crazy nut baby). I tried drinking cold water and some candy last night to wake her up and she moved a bit last night. But she is not her normal roley poley self. I drank some tea today and mushed my belly around to wake her and she rolled a bit but went back to sleep. Does anyone else mush their belly when they dont feel a baby? They are both anterior placenta so I don't feel them steadily all day but in spurts when they are being little nuts. (after I eat or if I haven't eaten I awhile)
Should I be concerned that she isn't so active like normal? I'm paranoid of the cord being wrapped or that I ate something that affected one of them. I had some very watered down crystal light yesterday which isn't a big deal but it was old and kinda solid in the little pouch. So now I'm paranoid it was spoiled. Lol.

Re: Am I mean? (baby moving ?)
You have nothing to worry about. As my pregnancy progressed I felt them less and less as they ran out of space. The little bit of crystal light is not going to hurt them.
and yes I used to poke them all the time to get them to move

Re: Am I mean? (baby moving ?)
I figured they respond to the sono thingy when they press it on them. They usually kick it lol

Not mean b/c the crystal light. I use artificial sweetners every once in awhile. I was only worried b/c it was gross and solidified and could be poison lol. And I only thought of that b/c she wasnt moving. But I feel mean mushing and poking them when I need to feel them move lol. DH always tells me to stop bothering them. Then when I tell him why I'm bothering them he asks if I want to go to the hospital.

Re: Am I mean? (baby moving ?)
Noo i don't think poking your belly is mean, i do it sometimes and DH also tells me that i need to stop and i'm hurting them but you're right when we go for sonos they push the transducer on our bellys so hard that me poking them is nothing. The crystal light probably was just old, but i doubt it could be poisonous! If you are really worried you could always call the office and they might tell you to come in and get a sono - i know when i had cramps once they told me to come in and they coded it with the insurance as "decreased fetal movement" so they must have urgent appts where they just check that.

I'm pretty sure thats why they don't have us twin mommies do the fetal kick counts, because it is harder to feel them and hard to discern which is which.

I bet she was probably just in a different position where you couldn't feel her because of the anterior placenta. I went in for checks several times because I couldn't feel my good mover (I only felt one baby most of my pregnancy because the other one was breech and had an anterior placenta). There are definitely days when they move less. Especially as they get bigger.
I say better to be safe, when in doubt go in and see your babies :O)
