Trader Joe's rave AND chinese broccoli recipe
Last night I made a delicious dinner I thought I'd share. I cut up some chicken breast, coated in cornstarch and pan fried in some vegetable oil. Then coated with Trader Joe's General Tso's sauce and let it cook until it thickened a bit. Served it over the frozen jasmine rice from tj's. Delicious!!!
Then I steamed up some broccoli and made a sauce for it. In a pot I added:
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1.5 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 cup chicken stock
Add oil, soy sauce and sugar to the pot.
Blend cornstarch and chicken stock together (to get rid of clumps)then add to broccoli.
Cook over high heat for 1 minute stirring constantly until thickened.
So easy, healthy and delicious!
