Diaper bag for twins
Do I really need larger bag for twins? I have the regular skip hop but I'm not sure it's big enough. I registered for it figuring I could exchange it later if I decided I needed something bigger but MIL bought it so she will know and id feel bad.

Re: Diaper bag for twins
I have both a big and a small.
I use the small for every day shopping etc.
I use the larger for long days out, summer day trips with bathing suits etc, overnight at my moms etc.
In the beginning I had to use the larger one all the time because I had pukers and we had to bring so many bibs, burp cloths and change of clothes where ever we went.

I think diaper bags are like pocketbooks. You can't have just ONE bag :O) I usually use a regular sized bag for day trips. If I am out for longer I have a coordinating tote or second bag for the car with extra food, diapers, clothes and PJs if I am going to be out for really long.
I haven't carried a pocket book since they were born so I just use a wristlet for my personal stuff. The rest is in the car or the diaper bag. Right now I am using a fleurville bag which is on the small side. I used a vera bradley bag for the first year and I have a huge JuJu be Be prepared that I never use because it's just too big. Id rather travel light and have a back up then lug it all around the mall.

Re: Diaper bag for twins
I got the huge skip hop for long days out and a smaller carters giraffe bag for shorter trips. DH is going to need something for his shorter trips since I doubt he's going to want to use my giraffe bag lol. Maybe a backpack.

DH got the diaper dude messenger but I don't see him taking them both out much at all. Especially not for like 6 months. My friends husband said he had it and returned it because it's too small for him to take their one baby out. He just takes her bag which is a large black one. Im wondering if backpack will be good for dh too. Like even a jansport he has and not even a diaper bag.
Maybe I'll pick up a coach tote from the outlet for extra stuff if I can ever get out of this house!! Ugh. Lol. I really like the blue and grey petunia picklebottom bag but it's over $200

I have the huge skip hop bag and some days it feels too small for me.
I admit to being an over-packer though!

Re: Diaper bag for twins
I have the skip hop duo double. My girls are 18 months and now it seems to be the perfect size. When they were newborns I felt like it was actually too small. My Ds at that time was only 2years 9 months and newly potty trained. So not only was I carrying around baby stuff I was also packing snacks, drinks, and a change of clothes for him.

Re: Diaper bag for twins
You can find petunia pickle bottom bags for cheaper, if you are patient. I saw a sashay satchel on amazon for 99.99 at one point. I saw a few different PPB on one of the discount sites (it was on haunte look or Fab or one of those places) a few months back for 79.00 I didn't get and STILL kick myself :O(
