Sparklers? (little girls)
Anyone else have a daughter who is/was in Sparklers? It's the baton twirling/dance group. I think it's a group that is around a bunch on LI.
We just started this week and it's adorable!

Re: Sparklers? (little girls)
They offered this at G's elementary school; yet she's in too much now (dance, daisies & cheer). Maybe next year.

Re: Sparklers? (little girls)
I twirled with their travel teams from the time I was about 3-18. They are a great organization!
I traveled a LOT with them. Regionals are in PA every year, Nationals are in a different state each year...and we went to Europe a couple of times too!
It was a great experience growing up with them. Lots of good friends and memories!!

Re: Sparklers? (little girls)
DD did this group when she was younger. She liked it, and it wasn't a tremendous commitment, therefore, I liked it.

Re: Sparklers? (little girls)
My DD did it last year, when she was in K. She didn't want to do it again this year. She had a good time, learned a lot (was able to twirl with both hands at the same time in the recital). She didn't want to do it again because she didn't like having to do the routine over and over again to learn it. I loved it because it was only $7 a week! And we sold raffle tickets for the recital costume, so the $$ outlay was minimal compared with other activities!
