LMSW - supervising interns - question
what kind of school intern can an LMSW supervise? I know social work but how about other related fields? How about art therapy or Mental Health counseling or recreation therapy?

Nope. Unfortunately a LMSW can't supervise those students.
From NYS office of professions:
Creative Arts students can only be supervised by a NYS licensed Creative Arts Therapist, physician, physician assistant, psychologist, LCSW, registered professional nurse or nurse practitioner who is competent in the creative arts field.
Mental Health Counseling students can only be supervised by a LMHC LCSW, as a physician assistant, psychologist, by a registered professional nurse or nurse practitioner who is competent in MHC field.
I'm not sure about a rec. therapist but I would assume it would be similiar as the above.
