I've googled and what I'm taking in is that there are no more groups just a diagnosis of ASD and that the screening techniques were made clearer to determine an ASD. Also ive read that only 9 percent would be effected by the change but I am confused on who that 9 percent is. If they are saying aspergers and pdd nos are still included why are they at the same time it should be called ASD (no separate groups)

I'm really trying to understand as best I can and I'm not sure if I got it right. Can anyone better explain?
