Going through withdrawal...
My stove started hissing a few weeks ago when I used it and the other day I came home to the lovely smell of gas. Our landlord knows about it and has not gives us a straight answer as to what we should do or what he is going to do for us. I am petrified to use my stove and all I want to do is cook and bake!! Especially on days like this, it's so nice to have yummy smells coming from the kitchen!

Re: Going through withdrawal...
I had a problem once when my stove was moved and the gas pipe connected to the wall started to leak-stunk.
Called CONED and they were @ my house within 40min. I was instructed to shut the gas off withthe wall valve and open all the windows.
Call them or LIPA they will respond like yesterday
ETA- please be careful
