Bulldog and going out at night

Our 8 year old bulldog barks every 2-3 hours each night to go out. She pees and poops each time she goes out. However, she doesnt go out nearly as often during the day. We try to put her out before we go to bed, but she'll just stand outside by the door until we let her come back in. Then literally like 5 mins later when we are in bed, ahe'll start barking to go out. I dont get it and its so frustrating. I think she's doing it out of habit and we should tell her "no" and make her go back to bed. But DH feels bad since she really does pee/poop each time she goes out. Our vet said she might just be getting old.

What do you think? My 1 year old DD sleeps through the night but its like we still have a newborn with our bully lol.

Thats called a stubborn Bully you have on your hands!! LOL My brother has two they do the same thing. He goes outside with them until they do pee at night. Usually he has to chase them off the porch to finally go if not they just sit at the door looking at each other like what do we do now!! LOL

I would say no water or food past 7 and a long walk. My dog pees and poops on walks no matter what time of day.

Haha!! My Bulldog Chunk is 8 too and he does the same thing!! Its so frustrating! We dont know why he does it either. He is spiteful. I feel like I have a newborn still. We havent slept good in almost 3 years! Sometimes my DH goes and sleeps on the couch because he stops asking to go out if he sees one of us. The older he gets the lazier and he drives us nuts as well..haha!! Darn stubborn Bullies!
