Should I call the doctor?
Backstory: I had an ectopic in August and just found out I am pregnant again.
Since Saturday, I have been very crampy and uncomfortable. I am more uncomfortable on the side that doesn't have a tube (maybe a cyst?). Its not pain exactly and its pretty high up (like right at my true waist/bellybutton area but on the sides mostly). Should I insist on being seen by the doctor today for a sono to rule out another ectopic? That is my biggest fear but I am being followed with bloodwork every 48 hours, though I haven't gotten any results back yet.

Re: Should I call the doctor?
Never hesitate to call but I have a feeling the cramping/achy feeling is from normal pregnancy stuff...pain from ectopic usually would begin later on when the embryo gets bigger. And it's funny...the side where I have no tube hurts for me too (i'm not pg, but it hurts here and there randomly, so weird!) prob scar tissue forming?!
Good luck!!

Should I call the doctor?
I called and talked to the nurse and they wanted me to come in. My beta at 4weeks exactly was 747. Is that good? I'm sitting here now waiting to see the doctor.

I think that's an amazing number!! It's higher than mine was at 6 weeks (with the ectopic). the trick is seeing the number double appropriately, which i'm sure you'll see. Hope you get amazing news!!!!

Thanks! I had a sono and she saw what she thinks might be the beginning of a sac (though its very early) and she said everything else seems ok. She saw nothing to be concerned about in the tube, which was my concern. She said all my cramping and soreness is probably from the scar tissue that adhered to my uterus and the ligaments from the laproscopic surgery. Now I just wait to hear how my numbers increase.
