Re: X-ray tech looking for work

I just graduated in May. Jobs are soooo hard to find. I live in VA & am working PRN so some weeks I work one shift but next work 3/4 shifts. I look on indeed.com & on each hospitals website & also word of mouth. If you know anyone in the field I would give them a call.

I'm sorry to hear your having difficulty as well. My cousin is in school now I tried to convince her to do sono instead seams to always be sono jobs, but she live in Florida and say they're in need of techs there. Hopefully the job market gets better soon:) best of luck:)

I hate to say it but I don't see it getting better anytime soon espically here but yet the schools are pumping out new techs all the time. I know the school I went to you had to be a RTR before you could apply for the sono program. I know a few people who went right into the sono program.

Northshore LIJ is looking for a tech.

Same thing at my school you actually had to graduate at top of class to get into sono. There were tons of jobs hen I graduated. And ye schools keep pumping out new grads, the fried is just so saturated it's awful.
