Pet Insurance?

After 7 years, we are finally getting another dog. I am wondering if I should consider pet insurance....my last dog had a bunch of issues and it was costly. Not sure how it works and if it is worth it.

We don't have it for our dogs, but we have a vet as a friend so it helps. If we didn't, we'd have the insurance.

You just never know....

Both of my dogs needed orthopedic surgeries within the same year. My rottie needed it 3x on one Knee and then my Min Pin broke his right arm in half after a tumble with my rottie. Then shortly after, the rottie tore her left knee!

Needless to say it was an expensive year.

It's not expensive to have and I think it's better to be safe then sorry

Pet Insurance?

I have Trupanion insurance for my dog. It is great you set your deductible which will determine your insurance cost per month and they pay 90% of all costs for illness and injury after you pay the deductible.
