Cane Corso
Hello ladies,
Dh and I rescued a shih tzu back in February. Saki is our world.
What are your thoughts on Cane Corso's? I'm not sure how my 15 pound dog will eventually do with a 120 pound dog. Please give me any feedback.

I just made a deposit to a breeder on one! I go pick her up next week. They are very beautiful however they are quite large. I am hearing a lot of people talk about this dog lately!

No the breeder who i contacted is in Westchester but the owner of the dog who had the puppies is in levittown. What color is yours? Mine is a brindle. I have no idea what to name her

I'm just freaking out bc I've always had a big fear for big dogs so i dont know what to expect really. We're naming him Biggie.
What kind of comments or what have you hear about cane corsos?

Our friend has one from a puppy and she is great. You have to start with training early. Make sure you monitor play and because Cane Corso are HUGE dogs you will need to make sure you do leash training soon. Good luck they are awesome dogs!

awww i love the gray!
did you get to meet the dogs parents? they brought out the mother and then the uncle. the males are so big but so gentle i was surprised. i think we are going to be happy with our babies. my dog should get to about 100-110, the boys can get to 140. my children were there are the adult dogs were gentle with them.....alittle clumsy of course 140 pounds can knock you over lol

Yes....we met the parents and the grandfather too. They all are very well trained. I also brough my shih tzu and they very nice with him too.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time....DH can't wait to have biggie home!

My neighbor has one. She is so gentle and calm, its unbelievable, considering she is a puppy. (She is 1 years old) My neighbor will bring her over and , although they are working on keeping her from jumping, she is very gentle with my kids.
