Team in Training
I have a question for you girls.
I decided to joing Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have to set a goal tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience with this. I kind of want to set it low so if I can't meet it I don't look silly! I really wanna raise as much as possible, but 2500 or more sounds like a lot.
Anyone have any experience with this. It's soo hard out there. I feel bad asking people to donate money.

I ran the San Diego marathon with TNT this year. I raised $5000+ but since my son is in remission for Lymphoma my family and friends were very generous. Facebook was the biggest help. I did it only from that and word of mouth. I didn't feel comfortable sending emails or letters, but I imagine that would have brought in more.
On a side note, we raised $500 for make a wish from garage sale and a bake sale.
