Buteras or Ruvo??
Want to get BIL a gift card for dinner for himself and his future fiancé to use. They are both very picky so this is what I came up with.
Which one?? Or any other suggestions

The only Butera's I have been to that I liked is the one near Amityville....I don't remember exactly what town it is in. I didn't like Smithtown and I thought Syosset was to cramped together.
I went to a rehearsal dinner at Ruvo and thought it was great.
I vote Ruvo!

I have never been to Ruvo but cannot stand Butera's.
The one I've been to is in Seaford, but I know there are other locations.
It tastes like leftovers to me.
I haven't been in ages but Cara Mia is good Italian IMO.
We also like Matteo's for Italian which has multiple locations.

I have to be honest and say I finally tried Ruvo and got very sick that night after eating there. We won't be returning.
