ipad apps?
I finally broke down and bought an ipad. Now I dont know what apps to get for DS. (free would be best)

ipad apps?
I use this site all the time. The site owner reviews all the ipad apps and you can do a demo before you buy anything so you know you like it. He works directly with the devolopers and sometimes gives some apps away for free too.

ipad apps?
we found some of the best apps (as he got older) are the ones you have to pay for. but as they get older its much harder to say what is good and what isnt.. its more of a matter of taste.
DS loves NASA, so we have a lot of space apps. he still loves the classics, angry birds, but has mastered all the levels so we purchase him the new ones, his biggest obsession is youtube, so for the most part that s free.

Anything by Pi'Ikea Street is really cute. Starfall has an app. None of these are free though, sorry!

There's an app called "build it up" it has a free version and there are other apps by the same maker that are great. You can pay 1.99 for the full version. Also search for tangrams and puzzles. There are plenty of free ones. For pretend play skills I love "my play home".
