HELP - Is it possible that I'm getting a surge already?
I was on Clomid CD 4-8. Today is CD 9 and it's the first day I was supposed to use the OPKs.
I POAS at 1:15 and it's not completely dark, but the LEFT HALF of the test line is as dark as the control line. The right half is faint. What does that mean??
My Saliva based OPK is showing full ferning.
I thought it would be much later in the cycle that I would O. Now I'm confused!!!
What do you think?

Judging from the OPK, sounds like you're starting to O. Some people will have that surge for days... you might be one of them. START BDing!!!!!!!!!!! 
ETA: Not all people O on CD14... you probably O earlier.

I think that your real surge may be yet to come but you are definitely on your way!!
I say maybe take another OPK tongith and definitely tomorrow and see if the line is any darker!!
AND as Lichi said, BD your brains out!!

can you scan it?? You could certainly O this early. I start on Day 10...so lets say you did get the surge, its possible you will O 24-36 hours from now and thats day 11 right? Not that unusual. I would BD and see if you get the temp rise...

I never did well with the saliva OPK, and never "ferned", but it sounds good to me!!!

I went to scan it last night but DH had already thrown the left over sauce on top of it in the garbage and I thought it would be a little obsessive to rinse it off!!

Loren- so glad you are O'ing! Don't want to be intrusive but I read in TCOYF that if the clomid is drying you up and you want to make your CM more friendly for the swimmers that you can take some kind of cough syrup to help- I forget now what the ingredient is- but, I remember they said look for medicine that JUST has that ingredient, no antihistimine extra ingredients because those dry you out too- does anyone remember the cough syrup's name that is supposed to help?

It's Robitussin and you should buy the one that has ONLY Guafinesin(sp?) syrup, nothing else.

I was hoping to avoid the Robitussin! I hate cough syrup!!
I've been eating Carrots and drinking vegetable juice - they are supposed to help too.
Plus I have the preseed if we really need it.
I took an OPK again this afternoon with the same results - half dark, half light. I guess I won't know how a full one looks until I get one!!
We are going to BD again tonight, just to be sure.
