Stupid guilty feelings
I have chocolates/candy that DH bought me last year for Valentine's Day plus other random candy in the house that is over a year old.
I am cleaning out the house but feel guilty throwing these things away because they were gifts or things that my DH purchased for himself.
Please tell me these things are no good and I HAVE to throw them out for health and safety reasons
Also, any ideas for V-day gifts that don't include chocolate?

Re: Stupid guilty feelings
If they have been in the house a year already, is he really going to notice if you get rid of them now?
I tossed most of the stuff leftover from Christmas yesterday.

Stupid guilty feelings
I always feel guilty about throwing food away. I have tons of Halloween candy that I put up on a high shelf. I should just toss it, but I hate wasting food (even if it is just candy with no nutritional value whatsoever). Ask your DH to get you new workout clothes instead!!

Re: Stupid guilty feelings
Um JEWELRY!!! Haha I have such a sweet tooth, too though. I make DH hide chocolate/candy somewhere I don't know and can't reach and then once in a while I'll ask for a little bit as a treat and I'll close my eyes while he goes and gets me some.
