Awoken by cramps
So last night at about 4AM I woke up with horrible cramps. I didn't get back to sleep until 5:30AM b/c they were so uncomfortable. Yesterday was 8DPO. What do you ladies think? I hope it was implantation cramps, but if it's not - what else could it have been? TIA

Re: Awoken by cramps
It could very well be implantaion cramping. I had the same thing yesterday, mid day, at 7DPO. Seems we are both close to the same day of testing!! Any other new symptoms?

It didn't happen with Caiden, but it did happen with this PG. I woke up with period like cramps around the same time. Sounds good to me!

Re: Awoken by cramps
Just lots of cramping. Gagging from certain smells (DH had eggs this morning and I almost got sick) Pimples Very light brown spotting yesterday (just once after wiping - sorry TMI)

Re: Awoken by cramps
Not meaning to hijack, but how similar in intensity are implantation cramps to period cramps and how long do they last?

Re: Awoken by cramps
No hijacking apology necessary. From what I've read, some women don't get these cramps at all, some get them very similar to AF cramps (but they're a bit early to be AF cramps) and some have REALLY bad cramps. Mine weren't bad enough to want advil (although knowing what it could be, I wouldn't take advil anyway) but I guess I would describe what I had last night as pretty bad AF cramps (but not the kind that have you doubled over in pain). Obviously, they were bad enough to wake me and keep me up.

just wanted to let you know that I got a BFP and the next day or two I had cramps that woke me up in middle of nite. I had cramps on the day before hpt but I thought it was AF and kepting running to bathroom but it was on and off so it was a tad different.

Re: Awoken by cramps
I woke up with cramps at 4dpo and then had cramping on and off until I got a BFP at 17dpo. Normally I don't get cramps until the second day of AF-lots of baby dust to you!

Re: Awoken by cramps
Sorry to crash your board, my DH and I aren't really trying just yet although we do plan on that next year however we are not careful either if that makes any kind of sense. Well, my last menstrual cycle was on 08/15 and today would be by 22nd day away from getting my period (not sure what the lingo used for that would be on this board! ) but all day today I have been experiencing really bad cramps and almost never get cramps this bad during ovulation. It's so bad that it feels as though AF is coming to visit any moment and I'm not due for her visit until two weeks from now.
Is this normal? Could I still be ovulating? Sorry if I may sound ignorant but I really have no idea and think something may be wrong
I do hope this could mean but I highly doubt it.
Edited for spelling
