last minute catering order for superbowl party
any idea of who i can call at this late date without breraking the bank?
open to ideas. but it needs to be EASY serve-yourself-type stuff, b/c i am watching the game

Where are you located? I've seen a lot of bagel stores by me that are offering packages that look easy and economical.
For example, the Bellmore Bagel Café by me in N. Bellmore has a package - $99 for a hero or sandwich platter, wings, and I think some salads (serves 10-12 people). They have bigger and more elaborate packages, too. But something like that seems like it would be quick and easy, if you are not looking to keep it simple.

that is a good deal! i checked out the places by northern queens and i havent seen that yet. hmm

you have NOOO idea! i had 22 people over for my housewarming. i bought 5 HALF trays of food. it was 240$ total. it included a huuuuuuuuuuge salad that took up 1/3 of my dining room table
anyway, 22 ppl 5 half-trays of food were enough to feed about 40 people. they didnt even put a dent in it and everyone was eating all night. i had soo much leftover i was eating for a week and eneded up throwing a lot out.
they really pack the trays to the top. i was SHOCKED.

I *think* Valley Caterers in Franklin Square has some good deals, but I'm not 100% sure. The menu should be on either their website or facebook page though!
