Left Coast Kitchen in Merrick
Has anyone been here?
I've heard decent things about it and think DH and i have a kid free night coming up so was thinking about checking it out

Left Coast Kitchen in Merrick
I was there for breakfast and it was delicious! I have some friends that have been there for both breakfast and dinner and raved about the dinner.

I've been - I really liked it.
They had a fun, inventive menu... kind of like upscale gastropub stuff. New American, but more of a comfort food vibe. And a good wine and cocktail menu, too. DH and I both thought the food was good. The restaurant is pretty small, but it's a cozy atmosphere.

DH and I recently went on a Saturday night and sat at the bar for drinks and split an app and dessert. We got some cinnabun type dessert that was delicious. Good atmosphere and food. They also have complementary signature popcorn that's tasty.
The place is small so you should call ahead for reservations or to see what the wait time is otherwise you may end up waiting for a while. The crowd was older too that night, which I totally appreciated.

I have been 3 times. Went last night actually. Each time we have gone, the food has been really good. Service is has been good, not great. But overall good. But the good food and decent prices make it worth a visit. They also have a very good beer selection.

It was my uncles restaurant many years ago when it was called Courtney's Cafe.
