My girl is constantly whimpering
My maltese is 9 yrs old and for the past couple of weeks she just looks at me and starts to whimper. We took her to the vet, thinking there might be something wrong/hurting her inside but he does not seem to concerned. Her routine has not changed we still interact/play/walk her the same amount of time. My mom says it might be she is feeling jealous because I am pregnant. Does that make sense to anyone?

Maybe. Our trainer mentioned they typically only become jealous if you stop spending as much time with them or change your own habits. If you are resting more and playing with her less she might be jealous or resentful. On the other hand, she might be nervous about the changes you are experiencing.

Thanks makes sense. I am guessing this must be why she is acting this way I mean everything else is the same, but I don't pick her up and run around with her, my DH does, but I guess she feels the difference. Poor thing.
