How to cook chicken sausages?

DH was going to bbq chicken sausages tonight (for the first time), but it is now supposed to rain. We've never made them before. How can I cook them inside, either in the oven or in a skillet?

I'm trying to cook new things and need a lot of help.

Re: How to cook chicken sausages?

DH and I eat Turkey Sausage since we don't eat pork. I grill them outside when the weather's nice, but if I cook them indoors, I usually cook them in a skillet, and make them with peppers and onions with some olive oil and parmesean cheese.

So, do I just cook them in a skillet with olive oil? About how long?

Re: How to cook chicken sausages?

this recipe is awesome

Sweet Sausage Marsala

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound mild Italian sausage links
1/3 cup water
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 large onion, sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
1 tablespoon Marsala wine
1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1 pinch dried oregano
1 pinch black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Place whole sausages and 1/3 cup water in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cover, and cook 5 to 8 minutes.
Drain and thinly slice.

Return sausage to skillet. Stir in garlic, onions, peppers, and Marsala wine. Cook over medium-high heat,
stirring frequently, until sausage is cooked through. Stir in diced tomatoes, black pepper, and oregano.

Cook about 2 minutes more, then remove from heat.

Serve over cooked pasta.

That looks so yummy!

Since I live in a condo and don't BBQ, I typically cook chicken/turkey sausage in a skillet with peppers and onions.
