Released From RE
Today i was released from my re (Dr.Trivax @ Rsony). It was such a sad moment when i hugged him goodbye. I felt so comfortable there and felt like we were getting the best treatment we could possibly get(regardless that it took us over a year). I am so excited about this journey but sad i'm leaving this office. I'd like to do something really nice as a thank you. Any ideas? I was thinking of sending homemade cookies and possibly some other treats when my DH goes back in to do his last SA freeze. I feel like I owe them my life with everything they have helped me through - and of course our baby thats due in October!
Anyone else feel like this too?

Re: Released From RE
Yup. I cried when I left my dr and his staff... They've become like family to me over the years. I've mostly been on bed rest since being discharged from them, but am hopefully going there for bloodwork next week- so trying to figure out what to bring.

Re: Released From RE
I know how you feel! Leaving them was difficult especially going from weekly sonograms to none. I left Dr Trivax at almost 8 weeks and I am now 10 weeks and won't have my first sono until almost 12 weeks even though I had my first OB appointment(I ordered a Doppler so hopefully that will keep me sane for the next 2 weeks).
It is an adjustment but hopefully we both get use to it!

Thanks Ladies! at least i'm not the only one I just used the doppler last night and we could actually hear his/her heartbeat...so amazing and so reassuring. I bet i'll be using that often. First regular doctor appt this Thursday I'm assuming no sono until 12 weeks...might go crazy! lol

Just make sure you read the instructions carefully! It once took me 20+ mins to find the heartbeat (caused so much stress ) ... then I finally did and was nervous that I used the doppler for too long. When I looked online I read the FDA says not to use it for more than 10mins at a time for safety reasons for the baby. Just make sure you read all that before using it because I freaked out after that I did something to harm the baby!
