cat going in for x-ray So scared

My cat had bloodwork done & the results showed raised liver enzymes, not drastically but higher than the vet would like it to be.

He wants to do an x-ray to rule out any abnormalities in the liver. I am trying not to be scared but can anyone who's cat had this shed some light on the situation? My cat has no symptoms of anything except for a urine accident last month but that has nothing to do with this bloodwork.

The xray showed no abnormalities so he just needs to take a pill once a day for a month. Then he will have another bloodtest to see where his liver is at.

Thanks for your concern.

If it begins with a D then I don't have it- I was asking bc I have leftover meds from my kitts who had thyroid and kidney issues. She had raised liver enzymes as well, so I figured I'd ask incase I had something you could use Chat Icon

As I understand it, one problem by itself is fairly easy to treat with medication. She had a combination of thryoid/kidney/liver issues. She was also 17 1/2 years old when these problems were diagnosed, so it's hard to compare. She lived well for over a year from the time she went on medications. How old is your kitty?

Smokey is going to be 4 in May. I checked the box of meds and it's called Denamarin. I just think he's way too young to have issues but the vet did say the causes are sometimes unknown. Just like humans, issues can develop at any point in life. I'm sure Smokey will be fine.
