Pediatrician: Centerport/Huntington/Northport area

You all were so lovely and helpful and posted information about pediatricians that you love in the area.

Of course, now that we have officially moved, I cannot find that original post and its replies.

So...

we're looking for a pediatrician in the area of Centerport/Huntington/Northport area. Looking for caring and accessible pediatrician. Our old pediatrician was a very large practice -- didn't really know our kids even after 7 years -- but I was always able to get in when the kids were sick.

Also if you love any of your other doctors (primary care, OBGYN, vet), we would appreciate the recommendations!

Pediatrician: Centerport/Huntington/Northport area

I'm actually in the process of looking for a new ped. as well. I do love my Vet in that area though! Veterinary Center of East Northport on Larkfield Rd. We use Dr. Gantt and Dr. Ullman. They're both wonderful!
My OB is good but he's in Babylon.

We use Dr Kurfist on main st 25a. It's a 3 Dr practice and they are all great. We have never had trouble with appts or wait times and they have walk in sick hrs.

We go to Dr. Gerberg in Huntington village. He's also the chief of pediatrics at Huntington Hospital.

Dr. Siev - Huntington Medical Group. http://www.hmgpc.com/ They are open 365 days a year, have early walk-in hours & a radiology/x-ray department & pharmacy on the premises so no need to make another stop with a sick kid. I've found all of the doctors are very good in that practice. We go there for most specialist visits (ENT, podiatry, gastro, etc).
