if you were hiring someone to keep track of your health/fitness
how much would you pay per hour/visit?
someone who is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist.
also, what type of info would you find most helpful?

Re: if you were hiring someone to keep track of your health/fitness
I was seeing a holistic nutritionist for 6 months. I paid her $150 hr and saw her every other week the first month, then every three weeks for a few months, then only once a month. It was worth money.
ETA: As for what was helpful, just general nutrition info. I am also a recovering restricter/binge eater. It was about changing my habits. I still struggle but now I have tools to help myself.

Re: if you were hiring someone to keep track of your health/fitness
You just want them to track? Or actually train?
I'm not sure of NYs going rate, but when I was still in NY (2007) I was charging around $60-$75/hr for training sessions.
ETA: (personal trainers aren't necessarily certified nutritionists, so be careful, you might want 2 separate resources. But sometimes they can offer suggestions/education). Check their certifications & qualifications.
