Quick & Easy Dinner
I promised my DH that I would cook tonight and I SO don't feel like it!
Any suggestions for a quick & easy meal (no stir fry or tacos)?
Thanks!

Re: Quick & Easy Dinner
Pork chops in shake and bake with rice a roni on the side
I also do a wine chicken that comes out great and it is so fast..
Wash and flour chicken cutlets (thin ones and I use about a pound) Brown them in a frying pan (takes about tens minutes, fives minutes on each side)
In another pan: 3/4 cup of water 1/2 oil 1/2 lemon juice 1/2 white wine Salt & Pepper Garlic powder Add the chicken, set the time for 12 minutes Add frozen veggies (I use broccoli and cauliflower) when the timer is down to 8 minutes. Cover and cook until the veggies are soft.

Re: Quick & Easy Dinner
My favorite quick and easy:
peirogies, saurkraut and kielbasi
sautee the peirogies in onions and butter
heat up saurkraut in the mic or small pot -, and cut the kielbasi ring into 2 inch pieces, fry in a pan, throw in the heated saurkrat, and viola -- done
serve a side of sour cream for the pierogies
maybe some rye bread or rolls with mustard for the saurkraut and kielbasi if you want to go all out

Re: Quick & Easy Dinner
Not sure if you still need a recipe. But, how about Flank Steak Salad. It is a meal in itself
Recipe: Ingredients: 1 lb Flank Steak Head of Romaine Lettuce (cut in pieces) Red Onion-cut into rings or diced (your choice) 1/2 package of Cherry tomatoes (halved) Crumbled Gorgonozola Cheese Salt and Pepper to taste Red Wine Vinagrette recipe to Follow
Grill steak to your liking. Set aside
In a Large Bowl, combine lettuce, onion, cherry tomatoes, gorgonozola cheese. Toss the salad with just enough vinagrette. Make sure not to drown your salad. Top salad with Salt and Pepper to taste.
Cut steak into strips crosswise and add to salad (you may want to add more dressing over the steak and toss)
Red Wine Vinaigrette:
1/2 cup red wine vinegar 3 tablespoons lemon juice 2 teaspoons honey 2 teaspoons salt Freshly ground black pepper 1 cup olive oil (optional) Dill
Yum! Enjoy!

Re: Quick & Easy Dinner
take some hot dogs (defrosted) and slice to within 1/4-1/2 inch of the end. Put some sliced cheese in the slits and roll each hot dog in a crescent roll.

Re: Quick & Easy Dinner
when i want quick and easy i do parmesan crusted chicken and rice a roni...or you could just bread the cutlets in bread crumb and then put a lemon/butter sauce on it (just microwave 1/2 a stick of butter and squeeze 1/2 a lemon into it). takes about 15 mins total!
