Need your help for how to display 600+ photos at charity event!
Hi ladies,
I need your creativity! I am on the 100th year gala committee for a local charity. We are having a big event in May and we have lots of pictures from the charity's last 100 years (600+ pics) that I need to figure out how to display.
Our theme revolves around trees and originally we were hoping to hang the pictures from the tree branches with fishing wire or something of the like, but the dogwood tree branches grow straight up, rather than out.
This is a classy event and I'm struggling trying to figure out how to display these pics. I thought of getting those 3M removable wall hangers and hanging the pics from many clotheslines from the wall, but nobody seems to be sold on it.
Any help is so much appreciated! TIA!

That's a lot of pictures! Just throwing a few ideas out:
Use them in centerpieces attached to branches
Create a memory tree or trees at the entrance to the event
Create a book and auction it off or make it available for sale as a fundraiser for the event
Slideshow as previously mentioned

This is my business and I will say no one is going to look at 600 pictures. Pick 50-100 and create a tree out of large cardstock and glue dot the pictures there. Its a waste of your time to do all 600. Actually pick 100 since its a 100th anniversary. Perhaps you could build a raffle around it. Pay $50 pick a photo and tape something to the back of one, or write winner on it.

I agree with DRMom about reducing the number of pictures.
How about displaying in a timeline on the wall wrapping around the room at viewing height? You can have a banner/ timeline printed from a print shop in long lengths and just tape the photo on the paper that way you don't destroy the wall with all that tape.

What about topiaries (floor standing ones and smaller ones) and clip the pictures to the branches
