Ordering at a Steakhouse question!
We are going to blackstone tomorrow. I am not a steak, meat or seafood person  Would it be appalling of me to order a caesar salad with grilled chicken (its not offered on their menu)? Or am I not supposed to do this?

Customer is always right, do it! I have been there and it is not stuffy, they have caesar salad, they have chicken, your willing to pay...no issue lol

Not at all. i have seen vegetarians do that at steak places and restaurents always accomodate requestes if they can. Call ahead and ask if they can make it for you. They do have grilled chicken on the menu if that's something you can have.

Don't worry about it. I have been there. They have more things to worry about then some poor lady who only wants some chicken. I hope you have a nice time. It is very pretty there.

They do have a Caesar salad on their menu, so you can ask for substitutions since they have all the ingrediants anyway. I am very familiar with this steakhouse and the chain. Their number one mission is to please their clients.

haha don't think they'd mind- but once at Burton & Dyole I ordered a steak WELL done and the waiter gave me a nasty look and said something (this was 2+ years ago so I don't remember well) but apparently ordering steak well done is a big insult! I was pregnant with my first and crazy about everything being cooked well done.

I see nothing wrong with it...I'm assuming who you are going with wants steak. So they have to deal with not everyone in a party wanting it.
