Dog pee on new carpet

Wondering if anyone has suggestion on how to get the smell out. We have brand new carpet, installed maybe a year ago. Our dog had a accident on it. We cleaned it really well, found some vinegar solution online and scrubbed and scrubbed, but now she is still peeing there occasionally. Same exact spot. How do I get the smell out and get her to stop.

I love eliminate (smells good) and anti icky poo unscented (the scented formula is not a pleasant smell) If you are still smelling pee you haven't used enough enzyme cleaner. The cleaners can only work if it has come in contact to all the pee in the carpet to break down the pee and get rid of the pheromones that tell a dog this is the place to make.

How I clean pee on a carpet... use towels to blot up as much pee as you can. Then douse the area with enzyme cleaner, pretty much as much enzyme cleaner as there was pee. Cover not just where they peed but several more inches out. Let that sit for a few minutes then blot up as much enzyme cleaner as you can. Try to dry up the edges as much as you can so you don't get a ring. I put a towel on it and then step on the towel with my feet to soak up as much as I can and I make sure to rub the edges as dry as I can make them.

Once it dries completely I would go over that with either some resolve carpet cleaner in that area or spray the whole carpet with a scented air freshener etc, something with a strong scent just as a repellant.

So... step one, get rid of all the pee hormones and step two, make it unattractive to the dog by spraying a fragrance as a repellant.

I have done this very successfully with my cats too when my cat was peeing on my couch, cats hate citrus :o)

Petco sells this stuff, t may be Natures Miracle, in a red and white bottle called Urine Destroyer. BEST.STUFF.EVER. My cat peed on a rug and it was the only solution that broke up the stain and took the smell completely away

I get the Melaluca products, and use the cleaning products for pet smells. Works great
