Can we compare Tae Kwon Do prices?

I have a WONDERFUL TKD place in my neighborhood that everyone loves, they do a ton for our community and have an excellent program. I am doing a free two week trial so far and DS(6) loves it so much plus it is really bringing him out of his shell! My issue is that it is $1700 for a year commitment- two classes a week/1hour class. If you pay the whole thing in lump, they take off $300. Is this normal fees for TKD? I know they are very $$ but DS really seems to love it.

We pay $150 a month, for 2x week 1/2 hour classes. Your price sounds about right

The place near me was about $135 per month with a 6 month contract for a child under 6 (I think that was the age) and a one year contract for older kids/adults but they let you pay monthly. The classes were 2x per week and 1/2 hour each class. There were some bonuses too like picnics, fun days, parties, etc.

Sounds right - our place near us is $1600 per for year - 2 x per week, 40 minute class.

Our martial arts is $130/month with a year contract... 2x a week, half hour class.

150 a month no contract.
You can go as many times a week as you would like ( they have classes 6 times a week)
Classes are 1 hour long.

It isn't TaeKwon Do though. It is mixed martial arts.
