It band issues
I think I have it band issues. It started off as knee pain for the past few days. I'm on day 19 of running everyday since taking a 3-4 yr break. Today, I decided not to run but to walk on the treadmill to still get cardio in. As I was walking my knee really didn't hurt but the pain went from the spot in my knee to about 6 inches above my knee behind my leg then down 3 or so inches, also in the back of my leg. Like a line of pain for a few minutes then it disappeared. Does this sound like it band pain and if so what should I do? Should I stop running for now? I know I'm def not stretching enough before and after, do you think that's the issue and that stretching and a foam roller could help?

I am not sure if it is IT band pain, but try to foam roll it if you can. It is painful but it will loosen the muscles up. I also suggest rest and ice. 19 days of running in a row is A LOT of running - especially if you are just getting back into it. I read you can go 13 days without a day off, but usually I run 6 days and then I either rest or cross train on the 7th day (bike or arc trainer) and then repeat making sure to take every 14th day 100% off to give my body time to rest and recover.
