Psyllium Husks?
Can someone please fill me in on these? I have heard that it aids digestion and help you feel fuller b/c of the fiber? I know you can add it to smoothies but anything else? Does it have a taste? Where can I get it and hoe much does it cost? Sorry for all of the questions!!

Re: Psyllium Husks?
I don't know too much about it, but psyllium is what is in metamucil. I have never used it as a supplement, but I have used it in a gluten free bread recipe. I got it at Whole Foods (not sure how much it cost though, sorry).

Re: Psyllium Husks?
above poster is right...psyllium is the main ingredient in Metamucil. I buy Colon Cleanse from Vitamin Shoppe and its just plain psyllium in whole form. I also buy Fiberlyze (by Species Nutrition) and its a flavored psyllium supplement. I use it because I keep my carb intake from grains low and its to make sure I get enough fiber. ETA- Colon Cleanse comes in unflavored, orange and strawberry and abut $12 a container. Fiberlyze I get is lemonade flavor and around $20
