in office d&c

i'm having an in-office d&c on tues. has anyone had one? just wondering what to expect.

i had the option of doing it at a hospital and going completely under, but it was too much for me. i thought i'd rather just get it over with in the dr office but now am questioning my decision.

No experience with an in-office one but I can't imagine not being put out for it. I am so sorry you are going through this now, but I would absolutely choose to do it in the hospital where you could wake up after and not be aware of the sounds, etc when it's going on. THAT would be too much for ME personally.

Sorry for your loss, but i had mine done in the RE office
He had the proper staff as if i was in the hospital- I actually fetl less stressed not being in the hospital

I had both in office and in hospital. I too was nervous about in office but it wasn't bad and not as involved as in hospital. The procedure wasn't long and pain wise it was a couple of minutes of cramping.
