Salisbury Steak - General Question Also

I decided I was going to make Salisbury Steak for dinner tonight. Not exactly sure why, but I did.

I made Rachael Ray's Salisbury Steak

Turns out, it tasted just like meatloaf but with extra mushrooms. I was very disappointed. I'm not sure what I was execting but it wasn't meatloaf.

I was also going to make the spinach, but when I went to drain it over the sink, it all fell out in the sink ? I was very upset.

QUESTION Have you ever been disappointed with something you made for dinner? If so, what? What happened?

LOL, actually I was making Rachel Rays meatloaf muffins and they came out horrible, I don't know why but we called it mush meat because it was really soggy. I was so disappointed, but we just ordered a pizza.

I made these lemon chicken skewers by Rachel Ray once that I was not impressed with at ALL.

I've always loved all of the recipes that I made that were from my big Betty Crocker Bridal Edition cook book.
