AP positions in NYC
Can anyone give advice on how to break into the AP world in NYC? DH has admin and teaching experience on Long Island but has received no interviews based in many positions for which he applied. Any help is appreciated.

Does he have a job on Long Island? Why would he want to go up a NYC job now?

Does he have any experience in the DOE? Sometimes the location of the experience makes a difference. Has he had anyone take a look at his resume/cover letter?

AP positions in NYC
He has all Long Island experience but the opportunities are limited. There are many NYC postings so he's applying in volume.
