Underwear

I'm trying to get back into running. I didn't do it a lot in the past but would like to work toward becoming a better one.

No way around it..so, what underwear do you wear to keep them from riding up.

I looked on line for a few recommendations but would like recommendations from "real" peopleChat Icon

I did a search and see a lot of you don't wear any. I can't do that. I need to feel held together. Chat Icon

Thx!

ETS: I couldn't believe the price of some! $20-$25 EACHChat Icon

Underwear

yes, i've read that there are people who go without... not me.

Hanes cotton stretch hipsters are the ones i wear when running. almost everything else i've worn has not stayed in place.

they might not be sexy, but they do what i need them to do. keep me held together and they stay in place.

Re: Underwear

I wear these:

http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/warners-panty-no-pinching-no-problem-lace-hipster-5609?ID=561758&CategoryID=55805#fn=PANTY_TYPE%3DHigh%20Cut%20Brief%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D40%26ruleId%3D22%26slotId%3D1

They don't ride up and my running shorts/capris aren't low risers so you can't see the lace on the top. And they're made very well, and have lasted years.

I don't think it's just the underwear though, I've had shorts that cause a problem too. So I'd make sure both fit well so you're comfortable.

That's what I wear too.

I'm not sure what I'll do this fall/winter though, with pants This will be the first year I actually plan to run outdoors.

Re: Underwear

Hanes makes wedgie-free ones...those are my go-to! I can't go without wearing any; depending on what bottoms I'm wearing, they do sometimes have visible lines but I'm one of those people who don't give a shit about that when I'm working out.

I am among the ones who don't wear any, but what about shorts with the undies built in? I wear those and they don't move in places you don't want them to Chat Icon

Re: Underwear

Anywhere! Target has cheap ones, more expensive places have better ones... I have these shorts and they are pretty good.

Re: Underwear

I may be weird but I wear cotton thongs when I run, I wear them for half marathons, etc.

Re: Underwear

I found 2 pair of Pony Perform shorts in TJ Maxx yesterday and they work great!
Nice and light and don't bunch up.

Im going to head back today too see if they have more.

I also picked up some underwear and I'll see how those work with the shorts I already have.

Thanks everyone.
