Bringing pulled pork to a block party

I am going to a block party tomorrow. I have a huge pork loin so I was thinking to make pulled pork in the crockpot to bring. I can't bring the crockpot because the food will be outside. What do you think is the best thing to do? Should I just take it straight from the crockpot and put it in an aluminum pan and cover with foil? Will it last a while?

I wouldn't leave it out for more than 2 hours unheated. Maybe they have somewhere to put an extension cord outside so you can leave it on low? or Can you leave it in their house with the crockpot plugged in until it's time to eat? Or maybe you can bring it in a sterno tray?

Don't think they want people in and out of the house so maybe the sterno idea would be good!
