Molly's ears are terrible!
I put the meds in that the Dr gave me and try to clean them every other day.. but this past week they are really, really bad and she wont let me near them w/o going to snap at me which is sooo unlike her.. I know they hurt her.. I guess I gotta bring her in and have them done at the Vet's office.. I hate doing it.. they muzzle her and she screams..
I knew Beagles have problems but they've always been just dirty w/o infection.. I think she has an infection this time.. I dont get it.. I stay so on top of them..

Re: Molly's ears are terrible!
Just a few "holistic" ways to keep them clean--
give her plain yogurt-the ear infections are yeast infections-so yogurt will help prevent them from getting worse
also, if there's anyway to get her swimming in salt water, it'll help A LOT!!!
And a tip on cleaning them out...if someone can help you, try wrapping her in a towel, basically throw a towel over her and scoop her up, so that her head is exposed but her paws are wrapped up--then hold her close and clean them out--she'll feel safe because she's being held, and it'll go nice and fast because there won't be much of a struggle.
