Teachers help please

I am certified English 7-12 and would like to go get an extension on that so I would be more marketable.

What should I get? I have thought of the following extensions:

Special Education
the 5-6 extension
Bi-lingual certication
ESL Certification

Re: Teachers help please

I know my district has had a hard time getting good ESL teachers. If you speak a foreign language quite honestly if you can get your cert in that you will have a job tomorrow!

Re: Teachers help please

definitely ESL or Bilingual. I think even special ed teachers are having a hard time finding a job. My district is still advertising for a bilingual position.

Re: Teachers help please

There are many people at my school that have gone back for their bilingual extension. I hear it is great to have and the rising number of ESL's make it VERY marketable.
Good Luck!!!Chat Icon
