Party Help

We are planning a backyard birthday party for DH in a couple of weeks. I expect 20-30 adults.

I am going to order several large heroes (Italian, chicken cutlet, veggie) that come with salads.

We also plan to supply a keg and wine.

I've asked all the adults to bring a side dish or dessert.

I also will probably heat up a batch of chicken nuggets and maybe mac n cheese for the kids.

Anything else you think I should have on hand? My sister is going to pick up chips/appetizers.

I would prefer not to have to deal with the grill that day and keep it as simple as possible.

I will also pick up juice boxes and soda.

I know the obvious like paper plates, napkins, plasticware........and a cake.

I would just confirm with some of the adults that they are going to bring a side. I feel like most people would be inclined to bring/pick-up dessert and then I would panic that we have no sides.

I assume the hero comes with mayo, mustard etc?

You mentioned plasticware, don't forget the large plasticware serving spoons for the salads/sides

Coolers and ice

Thats all I can think of right now....

Re: Party Help

Sounds good to me :) maybe a watermelon as backup in case nobody brings fruit.

Aside from food just make sure you have bug spray or citronella candles.
