Cat - Bladder stone removal

My cat Harvey had bladder stone removal last Thursday and came home on Saturday. He seems to be doing pretty well except he's peeing outside of the litter box (as well as inside). When I spoke to the vet yesterday she said this was totally normal due to him having major surgery on his bladder.

Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, how long did it last? Cleaning up cat pee is a royal pain in the butt!! We have wee wee pads down but he still manages to miss on occasion.

Re: Cat - Bladder stone removal

Sorry about your kitty. I do not have experience with this but my cat was blocked prior to me adopting him.

If he urinating outside the litter box in a specific area? Or all around the house?

You may want to get a second litter box for the moment.
