Are any of you ladies "out of" shape
but your SO is "in" shape? or do you both need a little fitness tweaking?

we both could use some fitness and diet tweaking. After we got married, we lost control. We both feel bad about it and everyday we say we're going to diet and exercise, but it doesn't happen.

so funny because we found some pics of us from about 8 years ago and we look sooooo different. since then, we promised each other that we would start to eat healthy and lose weight...that was about 2 weeks ago and right now i'm eating a hot dog!

We could both use a little tweaking in that department. We have been trying to get into the habit of going for a walk at night . . . .

Re: Are any of you ladies "out of" shape
Do you have to be "in shape" first to be out of shape?
I let my gym membership go in April, because I was going to join a different one. Here it is September and I still haven't joined a new one. I kept saying I would walk all summer and then kept coming up with excuses.
This is probably one of my biggest obstacles to losing weight. I don't love to exercise and probably never will, but realize I can't lose weight or feel good without doing it.
DH would also like to be in better shape, so we are trying to get each other to walk after dinner when possible.

Re: Are any of you ladies "out of" shape
We're both out of shape. We met about 7 years ago, and since then DH has gained about 50 pounds, and myself about 35 (I've lost 8 recently though).
I need to loose about 20 more, and DH needs to loose about 30 (he was really skinny when we first met).
He's lost a few pounds recently though since i've been on my diet and we are keeping foods that are much healthier in the house.

Re: Are any of you ladies "out of" shape
my DH is in great shape. He is truly devoted to his workouts & eating healthy. I truly admire his motivation!
Me on the other hand, since the wedding, I have put on some lbs! Started to get them back off but I can't seem to get back on track.
