Breakfast calories?
I think it depends on what you are eating-- you want to get a whole grain, some protein, some fat, a fruit or veg, ideally. For e.g. whole grain toast with peanut butter and strawberries. Oatmeal with walnuts, apples and milk. Eggs and english muffin with melon. You get the idea. Not sure how many calories that is! But it is balanced and if you pay attention to portion size, it should help with weight loss/maintenance.

Breakfast calories?
I've been told no more than 300 calorie breakfast, but eat things that make you fill fuller longer like fruit.
Guzzle down a botte of water before you eat and you will definitely feel fuller.

Breakfast calories?
I have 145 calorie protein shake each morning.
Its filling because it has 30 grams of protein in it. 1 gram fat.

Re: Breakfast calories?
I think it depends on how many calories you are aiming to eat daily (overall) and what your personal eating style is. If you like a bigger dinner or tend to be a nighttime snacker, then I would try to conserve calories and save a lot of your "budget" for later in the day.
However, I would say I probably consume anywhere from 300-450 calories for breakfast (and did so even when I was in "weight loss mode").
I stay fuller if I eat a breakfast that has a variety of nutrients -- fat, protein, complex carbs, etc.
Some things I eat in the morning that keep me full:
Greek yogurt with 20 g raw quick oats topped with fruit of choice
1 whole grain frozen waffle toasted and topped with 1/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese (mixed with sweetener of choice, if desired, vanilla or almond extract, to taste) topped with mixed berries or fruit of choice
or
1 whole grain frozen waffle toasted and topped with 1 TB peanut butter and banana slices
1 egg (cooked in microwave) on small whole wheat roll with 1 slice of low-fat cheese and/or tomato (fruit on side)
or 1 egg in whole wheat low carb tortilla/wrap with salsa and fruit
1 egg with 2-3 slices of turkey bacon and fruit
Baked oatmeal (like Skinnytaste blueberry and banana recipe)
or 1/2 cup oatmeal cooked with water or almond milk with desired toppings (fruit, peanut butter, honey, etc.)

Re: Breakfast calories?
Thanks for the suggestions! For me if I eat more in the morning I will eat less throughout the day. I def need more protein and to drink more water!
