Need help

I had a chemical pg on 8/5 and haven't gotten af since then. Ovulation test with positive on 8/25. Multiple tests bfn! Have syptoms. Most of all back ache and pain on the right side just like it was last when I had my chemical! My doc stated he won't see me until mid oct! If you had a chemical did it take awhile to get your af back again? Or were you pg the following mth? Tia for the help!

Chemicals can REALLY mess up your system. Even though your doc wouldn't see you until mid-october (which I don't get at all, that just sounds wrong to me) if you thought you were preggo they could at least give you a script for the blood work.

Thank you! That's what I said to them and they said no I have to wait 6-8 weeks from last period to come in. Very frustrating!

I had a chemical at 5 weeks. I bled for about 5-6 days and AF came 25-26 days later. Which is a typical cycle for me. So basically I went right back to normal. I ended up pregnant again 3 cycles later but sadly that ended in MC at 6.5 weeks.

I agree with the pp. ask your dr if they can at least get you some bloodwork. Don't take no for an answer. Unfortunately even the OPKs are never 100% in confirming ovulation. Especially after a chemical. The only way to know for sure that you did is if you temped.
