Can you give some recommendations? I would really like to try some of their products.
I went to their website to look at eyeshadows and there are 295734975 options before i can even look at colors.
What do you girls love?

These are the regular eyeshadows
I love the eye shadows. They go on easily and stay on (for the most part--some colors vary)
What are you looking for? Matte, satin, shimmer, light dark, one to wear a alone, a few to combine?
Satin taupe is a good one to wear on its own.
Most of the colors I have are neutrals.

All of the above haha. I bought the Naked 2 palette so I'm pretty good on the neutrals, but I do find that it wears off. SO i wanted something that will last a little longer.

If you find that it wears off, you may want a base, like the Pro Longwear Paint Pot. Painterly is a neutral shade for a pale person... I have also used Indianwood, which can be used as a standalone eyeshadow as well.

Around the holidays MAC puts out special edition sets... I usually have good luck with those. I have a few and pretty much like all of the colors offered... Here is an example of one

Get the eye shadow pigment pots. These things last FOREVER!!!! I always use a primer base on my eye lids with them.

Have you used an eyeshadow primer? I had the same problem with the Naked palettes, they would fade and crease terribly! I use Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion now and the shadow looks so much better!

I've been using Mac Paint as a base but I'm not sure if thats what its supposed to be used for hahah. The UD Primer Potion helps a lot???

Re: Mac Makeup
MAC paint can be used as a base, but I don't know if it really holds the eye shadow--It is more for adding intensity to color or (with a light one) creating a blank slate.
UD Primer potion is good & sticky, so, shadow lasts, but it can be a little hard to blend.
I like it, but I still didn't like the Naked Pallete. I did have really oily eyelids at the time though, so that may be why the colors wouldn't last on me.

I've never used the Mac Paint so I'm no help there. The Primer Potion works great on me, I don't use much and I let it dry a little before applying eye shadow. I definitely see a difference when I don't use it.
